Default White Line in Paragraph Shading

Hello everyone,

I'm having trouble finding a solution to this problem. I'm trying to create some shaded paragraphs to distinguish different items, and there's a random white Line every two lines. Anyone have an idea of how to fix this? Here's a picture of it:

Thank you!

I can reproduce that effect by giving the paragraphs white borders. Perhaps that's your issue? If not, can you attach a document to a post with some representative data (delete anything sensitive) to help diagnose the issue? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.

That didn't seem to solve it. Attached is a clip from the document that shows the problem. I appreciate any help you can give me!

I see the white lines too, though they change position when altering the zoom levels. Putting the data in a table should fix it.

zMtLlC: I don't see the gaps on my system, at any zoom level. If the lines don't appear in printouts, the issue on your system may just be a display artefact. Updating your display drivers may resolve the matter. If the lines do appear in printouts, the issue on your system may be due to the printer driver, which Word uses for the page formatting. Updating your printer drivers may resolve the matter.

tfa91: Office 2013 uses a different document layout engine, so your results may not be directly comparable. Even so, updating your driver(s) may resolve the matter on your system too.
