Conditional Page Display or Checkboxes
I am wondering if one of two options is available, or another solution.
1. Is it possible to have a list of checkboxes/objects to select on the title page, and when checked, a given selection of pages within the document display as relevant and the others are not displayed? 2. Is it possible to have the list of checkboxes/objects to select on the title page that when selected auto-check a checkbox on associated/relevant pages (an alternative to #1 that indicates a required page when checked)? Essentially, the problem is I have a large document of 50+ pages each associated to one or more selections. I would like to make it so that the end user selects from a main page which track they are in, which then either displays the pages for only that track or tracks if multiply selected, or auto-checks a "Page Required" checkbox at the top of each page that are associated to the checkboxes on the main page. We're hoping to avoid the end user having to read which pages need to be completed by track at the top of each page in list format (e.g., "Applicable to the following..."). I've seen some conditional format information related to mail merges, which from my current knowledge is not a path we want to go down unless it doesn't appear as such to the end user. |

This would better be done with a custom dialog box called a userform.
This is much more flexible than trying to do the automation within your document. |
