![]() I have completed a manuscript using Word. I forgot to add a Title Page at the beginning. Title pages should not be numbered.... how do I add a title page to document, without it being number one in the Header? When I try to add a Blank Page before the prologue (page 1), the Title Page becomes number 1, and the prologue page changes to number 2??? How do I prevent this???? thx armand |

You could just go to the Insert tab and insert a Cover Page. By default, in Word 2010, they do not count in the numbering of pages and do not use the headers or footers in Section 1. The Cover Page may require some extensive revision for your format.
I agree with the recommendation that you look at Numbering Front Matter (Ribbon). By the way, the way pagination works with cover pages differs depending on the Word version. Cover Page Anomalies |
