Thanks but now are you saying that this is typical behavior for Word? Or, as zyzzyva57 suggested, is Word not suppose to be behaving this way? I need to figure out whether I should bother reinstalling or not. Obviously, if Word is suppose to bring up all minimized windows when another Word file is opened then I won't bother trying a reinstall. In other words, does Word behave like this for you when you open another Word file with others minimized?
