Word "forgets" automatic hyphenation is on
Hi Everybody,
I'm experiencing a strange behaviour in Word with one of my documents. It's a rather large one (460 or so A5 pages). I'm using automatic hyphenation (the language of the document is Hungarian) and from time to time Word forgets all about it and reformats the whole document up to the cursor position removing any auto-hyphens. Beyond the cursor position everything remains unchanged. This occurs every time I edit the document after about 5-15 minutes. If I go back to the beginning of the document, turn automatic hyphenation off and then turn it back again everything goes back to normal for the next 5-15 minutes then Word does the whole thing over again. If I close the document and open it again it's the same - everything's OK for a short while then Word breaks the formatting again up to the cursor position. I'm not absolutely sure but I think this behaviour has started after the Windows 10 update and it's there in all Office versions I've tried (2010, 2013 and 2016.) Has anyone experienced anything like this? I'm getting really frustrated with the issue. Thanks in advance for any ideas! Regards, Artúr |
