Default RESTARTING page numbering in a sectioned document.

I have a document that is sectioned.

I have the page numbering in the FOOTER as: Page N of X Pages.

I want the numbering to RESTART in each section. I don't seem to be able to do this. The footer from the first section always shows the TOTAL pages from all sections. I have tried to "unlink" and other things, but don't seem to be able to get this set correctly.

Thank you.

jp

Does the X reflect the correct number? If not, go to format page numbers at the beginning of each section and tell it to restart at 1.

For the X, while editing the footer, press Alt+F9 to display field codes. Change NUMPAGES to SECTIONPAGES. Press F9. Press Alt+F9.
