Post Parts of Word document doesn't print but works perfectly on others

The printer (HP Officejet Pro 8620) is less than 6 months old and has worked perfectly but recently it has started to only print only the header and none of the main body text or footer on established Word documents. If we create a brand new Word (2003 software) document, it will print without any problems, however if we 'select all' and copy the text from the troublesome document, and copy into a new document the same thing happens again ie only printing the header.

If we convert the document into pdf format, it will print perfectly.

The original template was set up in Word 97-2003 and originally printed fine with this printer but has developed recently.
