Placing a watermark on each business card
I have a watermark that I use on my flyers, estimate forms and my contracts. I also want to put that watermark on each business card I print (using word 2016). I have not been able to find a way to do this, yet!. I also looked at publisher 2016 with no luck. A search on the internet shows several examples using word 2010, 2007 etc, but why not 2016. It seems simple enough, since it can be done to the entire page, yet not to a business card template. Please help! I am sure it is simple enough, just can't figure it out. Using Windows 10, Word 2016, etc.

See http://www.gmayor.com/graphics_on_labels.htm. The principles apply equally to Word 2016.

Go to the link that Graham gave you. Watermarks are images. Generally they are faded and in the background. The Watermark feature in Word is designed to put a watermark on a page, not on a part of a page. Your business card template is a Word table (as are all properly designed label templates).
Changes in Word are incremental. It is rare for a solution that works in Word 2000 to not work in Word 2010 or 2016. There was a major shift in how to reach commands with Word 2007, and changes since then have been very incremental. |
