I'm sure that the date/time of comments (and other changes) used to be displayed in balloons and/or Reviewing Pane. But now they are not. I'm using Word 2007. Any suggestions as to why this might be? Here's an example of what a comment in the Reviewing Pane currently looks like.
Thanks in advance, Paul Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 12-31-2015 at 10:33 AM. Reason: Mark as solved |

As far as I know, this information has never been displayed directly in the balloon. This shows up when you hover the mouse pointer over the balloon showing the comment or change.

Wow - that's really strange. Goes to show how unreliable one's memory is.
That's also really annoying, because I prefer to have these popups switched off, as they are often really large and interfere with work. Thanks for your help! Paul |
