Question Saving lengthy Word documents

Is it possible to set a Word document to save Excel style, i.e., so the page view at the time of the save is the point at which the file will re-open? So that, for example, a Word calendar will not automatically open to January, but rather to the month / page at which you are working and wish to continue to work the next session?

TIA for any and all help

I don't think so. Word docs always open at the beginning. You can use Ctrl + Alt + Z (or Shift + F5) to jump to your last edit point, though. You can use Ctrl + G to jump to a specific location (page, etc.). If you insert bookmarks at key locations, you could use this feature to jump to them.
Another option, depending on the styles you use, is to view the Document Map and use that to jump to a location (View, Document Map).
Alternatively, someone might be able to suggest a macro you could write to jump to a specific location.
Cheers

Thumbs up

Thanks for that Ctrl + Alt + Z (or Shift + F5) suggestion. That seems to work well, and will make for a decent workaround.
