Question Saving lengthy Word documents

Is it possible to set a Word document to save Excel style, i.e., so the page view at the time of the save is the point at which the file will re-open? So that, for example, a Word calendar will not automatically open to January, but rather to the month / page at which you are working and wish to continue to work the next session?

TIA for any and all help
