How create non-newspaper columns?
I have a Word document of song lyrics, with the French followed in the document by the English translation. I'd like to set this up in two columns, with the French on the left and the English on the right. Each set of lyrics runs to about 1 1/2 pages.
I want the French lyrics to run through to the second page only on the left, then the English lyrics only on the right matching the French lyrics line by line. I can't seem to set this up correctly. If I just set it up as two regular newspaper-style columns, Word puts some of the French lyrics in column 2 which I don't want. I guess this is the "parallel columns" feature that I remember from years ago. It seems like a fairly common thing to do. Has this feature been discontinued...? |
