Normally, Word gleefully inserts curly quotation marks (slanted, actually) when I don't want them, even with the option off. But now that I'm reformatting a manuscript as an e-book, I need curly quotes and can't get them. I followed the instructions on the Microsoft site (and others), and while the replace function tells me it's replaced a jillion quotation marks, it's apparently replaced them with the same straight marks.
Has anyone encountered the problem? |
