There is one or more section breaks. You may have set numbering (format page numbers) to begin at 4. You can do this even though there are no page numbers in your pages. You may have an even-page or and odd-page section break.

It seems like you may have created a seperate section and then started page numberation with "4".

This can (maybe) be fixed by clicking your second page/double clicking the page number, choosing "format page number" and then edit the start page.

Alternatively you can download a template at www.word-pages.com for free with page number starting later - e.g. postponed by 1, 2 og 3 pages. This way the FrontPage/Table of contents will be excluded from the page numberation, and the start of your actual report will start at "page 1", even though it the actualy page is page 3. I hope that makes sense
