I am using Word 2010 (Dutch language).
Question: How to use 'Wijzigingen bijhouden' (Marking changed text by color, underline etc.) in a document consisting of several sections whereby some are protected. Example: document has 3 Sections, Se 1 and 3 are protected from writing. Se 2 is writable. Text changes in Se 2 are not marked by 'Wijzigingen bijhouden'. Is this possible at all? In VBA? Thanks for yr time. |

You can apply underlining, etc. at will in an unprotected Section, but not in a protected one. Although a macro could be used to unprotect a protected Section, apply underlining, etc., then re-protect the Section, you would have to be able to tell it which text to process other than by selecting it (since you can't select text in a protected Section). Do you have any rules for what text should be underlined, and when?
