black line prints in margin with picture
A black line prints in the right margin near a picture. The picture is rotated, and part of the "frame" (the limits of the picture) are outside of the margin. The picture does not have a line for a border. If I remove the picture (leaving surrounding text), the line goes away.
The line does not appear in print preview or if I print to pdf, only if I print to the printer. I am using pdf as a work-around (print to pdf and then pdf to printer) but there is a slight degradation in print quality. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Even though Track Changes is turned off, the black line might indicate a tracked change. In the Review tab, does the pull-down menu say "All Markup"? If so, does the black line go away when you change it to "No Markup"? If it does go away, then you just need to accept that change.

My options in the pull down menu are "Final", "Final: Show Markup", "Original" and "Original: Show Markup". I have tried each of these to no effect.
Also, the line shows on the right margin, track changes line show on the left margin (in my experience). Thanks for the suggestion. |
