If you mean it doesn't show up on the Add-Ins tab, it should not do so. Do you have a PDF tab? If you try printing, does it allow printing as Adobe PDF?

This is really a question to ask Adobe.

As far as I know, you need the full version of Adobe Acrobat, not just the reader, to get the functionality you are asking for.

Note that Word has a built-in capacity to save as PDF.

Acrobat DC is the 2015 release name of the full version.

Thanks, Charles, I wasn't aware of that.

OK, assuming that Acrobat adds commands to the ribbon, the original poster should see those. As you already stated, it's best to ask Adobe.

Assuming you're not referring to Adobe Reader DC, you may need to re-run the installer and do a custom install, checking the addins option.
