Consolas can be download from microsoft.

The problem is:
Consolas would not be displayed as a monospace font in MS Word while entering two or more continuous white spaces. This does not happen in web browers like Firefox, IE, Google Chrome ... etc. And Consolas works very fine in Visual Studio. More than that, MS Powerpoint does display Consolas as monospaced style.

How to fix that?

This is not happening in Word 2007 or later versions. You can try this out for yourself at Word Online.

I am seeing this problem with Word 2013. It happens mostly when I cut and paste source code from the Eclipse IDE.

Here is what I am getting at Word Online.
Are you sure that the text you paste does get pasted with the Consolas typeface?

I am unable to replicate the problem with Consolas reported by HoresXB with Office 2003. I get a perfect alignment with the same characters. The same goes for other mono-spaced fonts, including Courier, Courier New, Lucida Console & OCR A Extended.

Likewise, the same mono-spaced fonts work fine in Word 2010. Given that, I suspect you have either a different:
• font ; and/or
• point size,
for the spaces from the other characters.
