Thanks for the info. I was originally thinking about the printers having to do with it but had discounted it since two of the computers in the loop having the issue use the same printer. But...it isn't the same driver because one is the XP computer and the other is the OS X computer...different drivers.

The link you sent really explains how Word works. I really appreciate the quick reply. I completely see how it can change based on what template we use and whether we have a box checked or not. An eye opener for sure.
