This issue involves what happens when a Word docx file is created on one computer and then opened on a different computer.
Three people working on same document. One using Office 2007 on a Windows 7 computer, one using Office 2007 on an XP computer, another using a Mac OS X computer running Office 2013. If a Word docx file is created on one of them (doesn't seem to matter which one) and given page numbers, the information displayed on each page is not the same from one computer to the next. I've checked formatting and the file comes through with the same font and sizes, margins don't always seem to come through the same but even after making sure they are the same as the original file, the contents on say page 308 are different on one computer compared with another. Any idea why this kind of information would change when we have the same margins and the same font? |
