I'll check about JPG printer drivers. I use Bullzip for PDF creation and it works fine.
I don't do a lot of graphics -- I crop photos and create low res versions for thumbnails and such, and have used IrfanView for general graphics manipulation, a nice little utility for low end stuff which is all I need. Screenshot cuts away the resolution and so I was looking for a more direct method. The transition via PowerPoint is fine, and maybe a nice JPG "fake print" driver will be the best. Thanks for all the good help. Those who are interested might check out my website to see what sort of graphics I'm using -- not a lot. I am a novelist and so I mostly just use Word. www.sam-waas.com Thanks again! This forum is excellent! Fast and reliable help, always. I'm out of the computer biz these days and so the details of software are often not something I'm cognizant of lately. |
