How to center text vertically in rectangle/ textbox
Hallo,
I am using MS Word 2003. I am looking for a way to vertically center the text that I enter into a rectangle/ textbox (I use the rectangle icon on the drawing toolbar). I ran into the same problem with MS Access. Eventually, I learned that there is an obscure property on the Property Sheet that allows you to do that. But, MS Word doesn't have any Property Sheets - at least as far as I know. Any suggestions ? |

With Word 2007 and later versions, right click the border of the text box > Format Shape> Text Options> Vertical Alignment.

For Word 2003 and earlier, consider using a single-cell table instead of a textbox.
