Default Word 2003 affects on Browser viewing

Hello. Thank you for your responses in advance. I am wonder what is affect my browser viewing after I open a Word file. My browser is increased in zoom after I open a Word file as well as other application I have open on my desktop. Prior to opening Word file and working with other application on my desktop everything is in the same 100% viewing. After opening Word the magnification increases to 130%. Is there something I need to adjust in Word or in my browser to prevent this from happening. I am lost as to what to do. Hope someone can help. Thanks, Xandr
