For many years now I have sent a newsletter out written in Word 2007 emailed direct via Outlook 2007 (Office 2007).



Often I include (embed?) a photo in the Word document and have had no problems with this until recently, now when I click send, the usual spell check comes up then I'm asked if I want to send whereupon Word freezes (goes pale) Outlook also freezes.

The only way I can send a document with a photo is to create it in Word, then click select \ copy and paste it directly into an email in Outlook - it goes without any problem then.

O/S is Windows 7 Ultimate, all up-dates present
