Novice question about trying to align letter
https://gyazo.com/9935dd51df75b81a320a3ac5c5bd6f32
Trying to do this on a word document and I have not been able to get the smaller letters to align higher than the base of the larger letter. I drew a line and everything I have done from that point has not worked. I tried adding a text box but there seems to be a space outside the box that will not allow me to get it close enough to the larger letter without pushing it behind the box or right on the line. It seemed that it was a simple enough idea when I first started but I have not been able to successful do it yet. Any tips that anyone can share with me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you |

Are we perhaps talking about a Drop Cap which can be found under the Insert Tab. If so, select the letter and click on the button.
