Include headers in table of contents
Hi, I have a document which has about 15 sections. Each section has a different header. Each of the headers are formatted using styles, so they all look alike. I cant find a way of including these headers in a table of contents. I would like them to be TOC Level1. Word doesnt seem to recognise information stored in headers as suitable for tables of contents. Can anyone help? thanks in advance |

I can't tell you why, but I know if you define them as Heading 1,2 or 3, then it will appear in the table of contents. I haven't worked with it enough to figure out the different levels, but it works for me that way.
