![]() In Word 2007, when working with a long doc and I want to go up just a few pages, Word jumps all the way to the top of the doc after I've scrolled up (or used the Page Up key) just a bit. How can I stop this happening? Thanks, TC |

Any chance said document is protected for forms?

Thanks for your response. I haven't intentionally protected the file, and the only mention of protection and forms I find in help (F1) refers to online forms, which this file is not.
How can I find out if I've accidentally enabled this rapid upward scrolling? Thanks, TC |

Look also at the browse object (bottom right of screen) to see what it is set for. You may be clicking on that accidentally. This can change the action for the page up/page down keys.
