Linking Excel to Word
Hello All,
I am working on a project at work and would like to do the following: I have linked an Excel spreadsheet to a report that I have written in Word such that this report will dynamically update when it is opened to reflect the contents of the Excel spreadsheet. However, upon saving the Word document, I would like the dynamic spreadsheet to convert to a static spreadsheet (essentially killing the link) so that any changes the user makes in Word to the spreadsheet will not be discarded when the Word document is reopened. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help. Regards, engineer_in_training |
