Hi there. I am pretty frustrated trying to figure this out. Perhaps some you of you geniuses can help me. I have a World document that is a template for lesson plans for my school. Certain text is "locked" in that I cannot edit it. And then there are these grey boxes. It's like a form that I have to fill out--but the are extremely inconvenient as I cannot copy/paste easily. It's impossible to "select" a small portion of text. I've added some screenshots if that helps explain what I am talking about.
![]() Everything that isn't a grey box is not editable. Why is that? And the grey boxes make things so difficult. What are they? Why isn't it just a standard table? Thanks! P.S. I'm using Office 2013 for Windows primarily, but also have Mac 2016 and this has the same behavior in both. Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 08-19-2015 at 02:47 PM. Reason: Mark as solved |
