Word inserting line breaks / wrapping text
Hi
I am currently working on a document and instead of allowing me to type across the length of the page, as normal, my sentences are being formatted so the text only goes across half the page. Hard to explain, but basically instead of normal formatting as typed here, I am getting this: ggggggggggggggggggg ggggggggggggggggggg ggggggggggggggggggg with no way of stopping the words jumping down. I have tried everything....paragraph settings etc. The rest of the doc is fine and formatted normally, it just seems to be this one page. Any help much appreciated as it is driving me mad! Thank you |

See if there is a right indent specified for text. Look in the Paragraph dialog box.
You should also make sure that there are no manual line breaks or paragraph marks at the end of text "lines" in your example. Click the ¶ button on the Home tab to reveal nonprinting marks. Line breaks display as "curved" arrows and paragraph marks as pilcrows, ¶.
