Strange Characters appear when selecting SHOW ALL NON PRINTING CHARACTERS
As a Word user since day one, have run into a problem I can't solve.
While converting a book from a Print version in Word to a Kindle Version after several rewrites on selecting show non-printing characters to verify a page break occurs in essential spot, there are strange characters and words all throughout the text material. Example: Where the title of a paragraph reads :Transcendental Realms.. and should only show that with that, the following 'inserted like this ABOVE AND BELOW that title.
Transcendental Realms (TC "TRANSCENDENTAL REALMS" /11)
The same appears all throughout text where XE... word is inserted sporatically LIKE THIS: text reads measured by human instruments ( XE "instruments'...)
And the characters ( ) are different and unable to find a way to show it here
Strangely, the first chapter of the book does NOT have these appear, but all of the other seven chapters do.
It has something to do with selecting "show ALL non-printing characters
anyone know how to help?
