hi Guys,
top of the top challenge...tried everything. How can I align the page numbers along a vertical line in the table of contents in word 2013? somehow I did not getting it thru... the issue document attached , page 2. appreciate you feedback if know the how. With Best Regards John |

You need to give the TOC2 Style the same right-hand tab stop and indent positioning as the TOC1 Style. To do that, click on the paragraph marker for any TOC2 entry in the Table of Contents, then go to:
• Paragraph>After Text and input -0.33cm • Paragraph>Tabs and clear the 16.34 cm setting, then add a 15.6cm setting with a dot leader. PS: I note you have created the Table of Contents via Word's References>Table of Contents function. A Table of Contents inserted that way is placed inside a form of content control whose performance degrades markedly as the Table of Contents grows. You'll get better performance by creating one via Insert|Quick Parts|Field>TOC.
