I am trying to create an outline in word and I cannot get the outline to autonumber. For example my outline is as follows

I. Heading
A. Point 1
B. Point 2
1. subpoint 1
2. subpoint 2
C. Point 3

I am not very familiar with Word 2013, but in earlier versions of word if you could create an outline and every time you hit enter it would autonumber the next line and you could use tab or shift-tab to toggle which level the next point should be. Does nayone know how I can fix this? I googled and tried to apply what I found to no avail. Thanks!
