I am trying to update a document that has some kind of automatic formatting feature and it keeps capitalizing much of the document and loses all the bullet formats basically destroying the document. How do I stop the system doing that?
I use Word 2007 at home and Word 2010 at work. |

The formatting feature that you speak of is referred to as "Styles" in Word. Here are some links that may help you:
