Sort pages in Word document
Help! I'm new to Word and am using it to put together a 100+ page Teaching Guide. I'll not be able to construct the pages in order so I need the capability to move pages around to get them in the proper order when I've completed all 100+ pages. To complicate matters, many of the pages include graphics, etc. How can I sort the pages in a Word document?!

Word has no built-in tools for sorting pages - you most likely need to use cut & paste. The only way around that is if there is some sort of tag on each page (e.g. the first word or paragraph) to indicate the correct alphabetic or numeric order.

Try using the Heading 1 or Heading 2 at the start of each logical section (distinguished from a Word Section). You can use the Navigation pane to reorder things. Word does not really understand pages or think in pages.
