Hello,
I used to convert a fairly lengthy word document (about 200 pages, mostly text with a few interspersed tables and images) to pdf using Word 2010 Save As -> PDF. The resulting PDF was usually about the same size as the original file (5mb). Since upgrading to 2013, when I try to convert to pdf it creates a pdf with a file size much larger than the original file (10mb compared to 5). Nothing else was changed in the document, and I'm using the same pdf conversion settings and the same version of Acrobat (X). A separate issue is that when I do attempt to change the font from the original document from Alwyn to Museo Sans, the file size of the resultant pdf increases to a whopping 30mb. Any insight on these 2 issues would be greatly appreciated |
