Default Comment pictures ?

Hello everybody,

Can I comment certain points in my picture after I insert It into Word, like a pop-up window ?

Example: Let's say I have a picture of a man. When I move cursor on the picture to face of a man, a pop-up window appears with text "face", and when I move with cursor to legs, a pop-up window with text "legs" appears.

I am wondering If there is any way to do this in MS Word without VBA, maybe automatically...

Any help much appreciated, I need this for one big picture where explanations of contents of the picture is needed.

Regards and have a nice day,

Luka

Word has no functionality for doing that kind of thing.

The nearest you could get to that with Word is to insert transparent textboxes over the image, each containing a bookmark to which you create a hyperlink in the same textbox. If you make the hyperlink text transparent (e.g. a 1pt period and a bunch of spaces), with your hover text as the screen tip, you'll be able to get that to pop up when you click on the textbox then hover over that part of the image. However, that's quite clunky and you'll also have no control over the hover text placement; it'll also display 'Click to follow link', which is hardly what I imagine you'd want...

See attached. I've left the textbox visible. If you click on it, then hover over the space between the two periods, the pop-up will appear.
