Folks, after I restored my crashed PC, when I create a document in Word (2007), it is saved as a Word Pad doc. I can't get it to save in Word. Comments please? |

It is still saved as a document just as before. What is different is the file association. Re-associate DOCX format with Word. Repairing Office should do the job.

Hey thank you; I tried the repair and it did not work. Is there a process that I can follow to change the DOCX please?
