That's not happening on my PC.

FWIW, you may be able to overcome the behaviour by checking the 'keep with next' attribute of the 'Notes' paragraph heading.

Macropod,

I wanted to thank you for spending the time to help me better understand Word. Your initial solution was certainly correct, and for some unknown reason my PC was making an error. After enough messing with the styles and endnote separators, as well as changing the zoom, resaving, restarting my PC, etc the notes finally rendered correctly. It may have been a combination of a rendering problem with the style problems.
