Please see the picture below. How do I resolve this problem with the text that in some places are bolder, you can see word outlines it with a different color. The font, size, attributes are all the same.

Presumably this has something to do with the paragraph Styles applied to the text. However, as you've only posted some low-res pics instead of an actual document, it's hard to diagnose with any confidence.

I agree with Paul. One additional possibility is that the area with darker shading when selected is actually a field result. Alt+F9 will show you whether or not it is a field. If you do that remember to press Alt+F9 again toggle it back even if nothing changes.
