![]() Hi Stefan Blom, Thank you for the reply. This is how i create an auto correct entry 1. My word document is setted up with a particular font and font size. 2. I type what i want to in my codument. 3. Copy and paste it to auto correct window in word options-->Proofing 4. Select the "Formatted Text" Radio button. 5. Type the auto text for that text. 6. Clicking OKs . This is ok for now. But when i type the autotext after a system restart (Shut down today and start tomoorow) It will display the text, but the font is changing. For my native language. i have set a font named Aruna-Normal.ttf. But default font of windows for my native language is Karthika.ttf. So if i create my autocorrect entry in Aruna-Normal, tomorrow it will display in Karthika font. That is my problem. PS: Not all autocorrect entries has the problem. only some entries has the problem. As you know, creating a formatted AutoCorrect entry means that you add "example" content in a file. How Word treats formatting depends on how you formatted the example entry in the file. For example, if you applied a unique style and then created your AutoCorrect, inserting the AutoCorrect in another file will produce the same formatting in the new context, as long as the style doesn't exist in the "target" document. If the style does exist, the settings of that style in the target document determines the formatting.
Similarly, if you didn't apply a specific style but simply made use of the document defaults when you created the entry, chances are the formatting may change when the AutoCorrect is inserted in another document. If the AutoCorrect was created with direct formatting, applied (say) via the Font and Size controls on the Home tab, that formatting is likely to be preserved when the AutoCorrect entry is added in another document.
