Unhappy Text box-unwanted fill or shading

I use a text box repeatedly that, when printed, contains a very slight yellowish tint. I have highlighted the text box and used "no fill" and also tried filling it with "white" from the color choices. The prints still contain the yellowish hue. Everywhere else on the document is pure black and white. Only the text box has a tint.

Any ideas on what is happening here?

The shading that you see isn't necessarily applied to the text box itself. It could be applied to the content of the box. I don't use MacWord, so I'm afraid I can't give any specific instructions for Mac versions.
