Default "Unable to open *. The internet site reports that the item you requested could not be found."

I'm trying to add a hyperlink in Microsoft word to a website, but when it is clicked on the error in the title is given. I have navigated to the website on multiple devices and they can all access it fine.

This is the website I am trying to link to.

I changed the link address to Google and it worked fine.

What is the problem here?

sometime htttp://website.com and http://www.website.com are considered as two different domain. The problem may lie in the fact that the webmaster did not configured it correctly to resolve both the url type hence the issue.

Actually, I get an error message trying to open your link, even in a browser.

fwiw, a quick web search suggests recipesy.com or recipes.co.uk as valid URLs

I get the following (in Firefox browser) clicking on your link here:

Error 404 - Web app not found.

The web app you have attempted to reach is not available in this Microsoft Azure App Service region. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. The web app owner has registered a custom domain to point to the Microsoft Azure App Service, but has not yet configured Azure to recognize it. Click here to read more.
2. The web app owner has moved the web app to a different region, but the DNS cache is still directing to the old IP Address that was used in the previous region. Click here to read more.

This, and that your links in Google work and this does not, tells me that the problem is with the website itself.
