Word 2010 Printing Lines NOT Showing on Print Preview
We just switched over from Word Perfect to MS Word. I am guessing this is a formatting issue, but so far I cannot figure it out. I'm creating double spaced documents using Word 2010. When I'm ready to print, I use Print Preview to make sure the pages will print as needed. But when I actually print, the first line of the next page prints on the bottom of the previous page (ex: 1st line of 2nd page prints at bottom of 1st page, etc) though it does not show this on the Print Preview. This creates a problem as these are legal documents and must be printed in a specific format.
This doesn't happen every time so I don't know when it will until it does. I've been adding a hard page break each time it does it, but this is wasting time, paper, and ink. How do I stop this? Thank you for your help. |
Try updating your printer driver.

I agree with Stefan that you should check for an update to your printer driver. Another thing that can cause this is the presence of displayed hidden text which is not printed.

It didn't even occur to me to check the print driver. Thank you for the advice and the links. I will try these and if they do NOT work I will let you know.
Thanks, Again Kim |
