Even Odd page display
I'm trying to learn Word having come from OpenOffice and one thing that I really like about the latter is that it displays Odd pages on the RIGHT and Even pages on the LEFT, so that when you have 2 facing pages, they appear on the screen the same way they'd look on the book. Page 8, for example, on the left, and Page 9, on the right.
Word seems to do it opposite: with odd pages "first" on the left, and then even pages "second" on the right. Can this be switched? Is it just a setting that I have inadvertently set up? Thank you! |

Make sure that "Section start" is set to "New page" (or "Odd page") in the Page Setup dialog box (File | Page Setup). In that same dialog box, also enable either "Mirror margins" or "Different odd and even."
Then, to actually see odd and even pages correctly, you have to switch to Print Preview (via the File menu).
