I have a PDF file I want to be able to edit. I have Word 2013 and have gone through the steps for the conversion: Open Word, Click Open on the left, select the PDF file, a box appears saying Word will be converting the PDF to editable Word document.
When the 'new document' appears, it is still in the PDF format, i.e. there is a box around the text and unable to edit the text. Any suggestions |

You are as able to edit the picture of a document as you can be. Some pdf's are text, some are pictures, and some are mixed. You have a picture of words.
You need to run the pdf through an OCR program to edit it in Word. One Note has OCR capability if you don't have anything else. |
