Smile Issue with table of contents and site numbers

hey there,

I am currently finishing up my Thesis and i am experiencing one somehow wired issue

1.) My main issue is with the page numbering, i have some sections and through all the sections there is a page number in the right hand corner.

When i print the file to PDF (and also after pressing F9 to update all fields) the page number after page 13 starts beeing a constant 109 for about 7 pages, after that the page numbering works again and the numbers are just fine. (the page numbers work again in the next "section") (the numbers always get changed after updating or printing, its not that it is a typed number before the printing, after printing it it somehow converts to a wrong typed number)

Does anbody know how to fix this issue?

greetings and thanks for any help

-Thomas

You have a section break at that location and the number 109 typed where the page numbers should be.

Properly, a page number is a field, not a typed number.

Hey,

They are fields with the proper numbering, but when i either update the document (mark everything and press F9) or print it to a PDF it somehow swiches to the wrong numbers and the fields dissapear, do you know why that could happen?

Hey,

They are fields with the proper numbering in the footer, but when I either update the document (mark everything and press F9) or print it to a PDF it somehow swiches to the wrong numbers and the fields disappear, that is my actual problem. Do you know why that could happen? If needed i could upload the file

edit: RESOLVED

I kinda resolved a part of the issue, i am doing the needed thing a different way now.
A part of the issue was the following thing: I put a "running sectionchange" into a few headings so that i can edit the footers of different sections differently, after cross referencing somewhere else to that heading the cross reference included the sectionchange, this messed up pretty much every time i printed the document! great feature, crossreferencing and taking along formating thingies without telling the user

greetings and thanks for trying to help me
-Thomas
