linking text in word
hello
i want to link the items in my table of contents to the same headings later in the book. so that when i click the heading in table of contents, i go immediately to that heading in the document. how can i do that? |

You can automatically generate a linked TOC, assuming your headings are in the built-in heading style or in a set of paragraph styles you can specify in the TOC dialogue. I would make a quick search for "Word linked TOC"; you should find instructions. Essentially, you'll be using a selection from References/Table of Contents (References tab on the ribbon, at left you'll see Table of Contents with a dropdown arrow.
