Word is likely looking for a template on the (old) server. If only a small number of documents is affected, you can change the template path manually in the Templates and Add-Ins dialog box. Make sure that the problem document is the active document in Word. Display the Developer tab if it isn't already showing (File | Options | Customize Ribbon). On the Developer tab, click Document Template. In the dialog box, change the template path.
