Cannot remove Page Background color from doc
Someone provided me with a Word doc that has some horrible orange color for the page background. I need to edit the document, and want to remove the background color. I have opened the document, gone to Design > Page Color and selected No Color. Background does not change. Also checked Themes, no themes have been applied. I don't have access to the original writer of the document so I need to figure out how to do this. I also tried copying text of the document (via Select All > Copy) and pasting into a new document, however the page formatting came along with it.
Help! Thanks. BTW I am using Word 2013 but most likely the doc was created in an earlier version (probably either Mac 2011 or Word 2010 in Windows). |
